We have a great opportunity within The Richmond Fellowship Scotland for a Team Manager to join our dynamic management team within Dumfries and Galloway, covering Newton Stewart and Stranraer!
This will be a hybrid role worked both from home and in the office, with visits to services required at times as well.
The Role:
The successful candidate will support the management of the Senior Support Workers, and the teams for support packages of individuals who present behaviours of concern. These services provide support on both 1:1 and 2:1 and 3:1 support ratio with 24-hour staff presence including waking nightshift and sleepovers provision.
As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, as well as ensuring TRFS is effectively represented with external partners. You will contribute to the strategic development and management of existing services, ensuring they meet and exceed regulatory requirements, while assisting the Area Manager to develop and implement strategic planning in line with the programme of continual development in both practice and policy.
Requirements:
Previous experience in management within a care setting and supporting individuals with a wide range of support needs, those with complex needs and working with positive behaviour support is essential. Your strongest skills need to be mentoring and leading a team of Senior Support Workers and staff teams, focusing on measurable quality outcomes for the staff teams as well as the individuals supported.
We have an office hub both within Stranraer and Newton Stewart that can be utilised, but you will predominantly be working from home, a driving license and access to a car would be desirable. You will be required to have a relevant qualification for the post as defined by the SSSC- an SVQ level 4 in Care / Management.
