Who will you be working with?
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Doncaster. Our Doncaster site supports our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing passenger and freight trains.

How will you make a difference?
To maintain the assets on the site whilst ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and equipment uptime enabling the business to achieve the appropriate operational efficiency and customer service.
What will your typical day look like?
1. Manage and control the maintenance and utilities of the Doncaster Site.
2. Effective control of manpower allocated overheads, and materials to achieve projects and necessary PPM.
3. Actively involved in leading and promoting and continuous improvement activities to increase productivity and efficiency.
4. Management of team and contract staff.
5. Lead daily briefings to instruct staff to meet production targets.
6. Drive Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental improvements to comply with relevant legislation.
7. Provide call-out service by telephone and arrange appropriate staff/contractors to attend the site.
What do we want to know about you?
8. Ideally you will have proven experience in building systems, maintenance, and facilities management within a manufacturing or production environment.
9. Experience with tendering and implementing projects.
10. Strong project management skills.
11. Experience in budget management.
12. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
13. IOSH - (Desirable).
14. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
15. Competent MS applications.
