Join our client’s dynamic IT team as a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex IT environments for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert-level support and resolution for escalated IT issues across a diverse client base.
* Manage and maintain Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policies, and Microsoft 365.
* Oversee and support virtualization platforms, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
* Design, implement, and troubleshoot networking solutions, including VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and switches.
* Administer and optimize cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
* Collaborate with 2nd Line Support to streamline issue escalation and resolution processes.
* Perform regular system audits, updates, and maintenance tasks to ensure security and performance.
* Contribute to IT projects, such as migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and disaster recovery planning
What You’ll Bring:
* Proven experience in a 3rd Line IT Support role or similar senior technical position.
* Strong expertise in:
* Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
* Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware configuration.
* Virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper-V.
* Azure administration and cloud integration.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Strong communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, or CCNA (preferred but not mandatory).
