Hourly Rate: £12.19 - £15.07 p/h (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

What you’ll be doing:
* Support Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS, by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones
* Supervise the children throughout the day, ensuring their safety
* Work as part of a larger team, to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands i.e., hygiene standards and room preparation
* Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
* Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment on a day-to-day basis
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience working with children (Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nanny, Childminder or similar)
* Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
* Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
* Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable – embracing working cultures in different nurseries
* Have a flexible approach to working hours, supporting nurseries within a pre-agreed radius of your home address
