Based in Welwyn Garden City, my client is a well-established Structural Design consultancy looking for a talented experienced Graduate Structural Engineer to join a growing team and contribute to a variety of exciting projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
As a Graduate Structural Engineer you will:
1. Design & Analysis: Develop structural designs for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
3. Technical Excellence: Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools and provide technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
5. Site Inspections: Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

In order to be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer:
1. Qualifications: A degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years experience in structural engineering, with a solid background in design and analysis of various structural systems.
3. Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, Tekla) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to provide innovative and practical solutions to engineering problems.
5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
6. Driving License: A full UK driving license is preferred, as site visits will be part of the role.
