Leigh Town Hall and Wigan Life Centre South Salary: Grade 10, 42,403 - 46,464 per annum. 3 x 37 hours per week Your role: An Advanced Practitioner is a critical role within the team as they offer mentoring, coaching, support, and practice expertise to other less experienced team members. The role has acknowledged depth of expertise, including the assessment and appropriate management of risk. This role will help to deliver and lead good quality, child centred practice across the service. You will ensure that the Family Safeguarding model is embedded in all our work with children and families. You will demonstrate effective leadership and management to support staff and work alongside Team Managers to ensure that the service meets all statutory requirements and practice standards. You will be key in developing the whole workforce, fostering a culture of continued learning, encouraging reflection and through leading by example. You will help enable learning circles, group discussions and reflective supervision and have great analytical and decision-making skills. You will ensure that supervision is reflective, challenging, and explorative with the child s voice at the heart of plans to support children and families. We have opportunities in 4 of our family safeguarding teams. One of these teams is also a social work academy where you would be able to support a cohort of ASYE Social workers About you: You will be an experienced social worker (with at least 3 years post qualifying experience. You will have knowledge of social work statutory requirements and legislation. You will have an interest in developing your skills further and deputising for your team manager.
