We are looking for a Cell Collection Centre, Stem Cell Laboratory Manager to join our Cell Collection team. Title: Cell Collection Centre, Stem Cell Laboratory Manager Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent, full time Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours) Location: Nottingham, Queens Medical Centre (NHS), Onsite Job Summary As the Stem cell Laboratory Manager you will manage and lead on the stem cell laboratory processes for the Anthony Nolan Cell Collection Centre using shared resource with the Nottingham University Hospitals’ Clinical Research Facility. This includes ensuring all laboratory (and associated) activities are undertaken in accordance with the Human Tissue Authority (HTA) regulations, FACT-JACIE standards and other related standards or best practice. Current professional membership with HCPC with an appropriate MSc or equivalent Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience of running a laboratory which use haematology analysers or flow cytometers or well versed in the workings of an equivalent laboratory Experience of managing staff Experience of stock management Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt and flex to changing workloads, manage conflicting priorities, deliver on project plans and work to deadlines. Evidence of working autonomously What’s in it for you?
