If you thrive in a challenging environment and have the skills to manage complex schedules, communications, and more, we’d love to hear from you Main Responsibilities As PA to the Chairman and CEO, your main duties and responsibilities are: Taking responsibility for the daily administration of the Chairman and CEO offices. Managing diaries, organising meetings and appointments, and often managing access to the Chairman and CEO. All tasks relating to organising and managing meetings including board meetings - issuing agendas, invites, managing attendees, arranging refreshments. Taking and issuing meeting minutes and action points and following up with colleagues on behalf of Chairman and CEO. Drafting, reviewing, and sending communications on behalf of the CEO. Acting as the point of contact for the CEO and Chairman and internal or external colleagues/parties. Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation. Reminding Chairman and CEO of key deadlines & meetings. Liaising with colleagues, suppliers, and clients on behalf of Chairman and CEO. The Ideal Candidate You will have previous experience as a PA or Secretary to senior management positions (preferably CEO or MD level), within a large or medium organisation. Social Care is a complex sector with a high degree of regulation, and this role suits you if you are comfortable with complexity and a high level of detail. You will need good note taking ability for minute taking, fast and accurate typing skills, plus a good practical working level of MS Office. You will need to have excellent confident written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working toward and achieving sometimes pressured deadlines, good at prioritising, managing workload, highly organised and you do not mind having to change direction sometimes at short notice if business needs demand this. You will need a full driving licence as this role is based at our Head Office in Portland, Dorset, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday 08.30 am to 05.00 pm).
