Digital Product at ASOS
Over the past 12 months Digital Product at ASOS has been on an exciting transformation journey. We’re set up for success - product led, at the heart of the business and targeting growth in all that we do. With substantial investment our team has doubled in size and continues to grow, reflecting our commitment to creating customer centric solutions and our goal to 'Evolve ASOS beyond 'just' an eCommerce retailer'.
We currently receive over 2.5 billion visits annually, more than 23 million active customers, and over 50 million unique visitors monthly. This creates a highly committed and exciting environment with opportunities to develop best-in-class digital products.
As a Product Manager at ASOS you’ll work in a cross-functional team, singularly focussed on a strategic priority for the business. Setting ambitious goals, you’ll lead on creating innovative solutions for our customers. A proactive problem solver you’ll work with your team and stakeholders to inspire our customers at every touchpoint.
You will:
We are a product team focussed on our flexible sales channels which are our marketplace oriented channels, sourcing direct from sellers and placing ASOS product on external sites.
* Work closely with Lead and Senior Product Managers to help drive the vision and strategy for the product area.
* Work closely with our business partners to identify key operational improvements, including data needed to power the business and define what is needed to deliver these.
* Use a combination of conviction, data, competitor, and customer/seller/marketplace research to identify opportunity areas and build your roadmap.
* Champion a ‘test and learn’ approach to develop products and features, all with clear hypotheses and success metrics.
* Be forward in sharing learnings, failures and what not to design and build as a result of your research and where applicable tests.
* Regularly update stakeholders about the performance of your product area and use this as a backdrop for product recommendations or decisions.
* Be the go-to person for one of our awesome engineering teams, covering everything from the product strategy to the detail of a user story.
* Engage with other product managers and designers at ASOS to achieve results and learn from each other. Coordinating with them where their engineering teams need to deliver part of the solution.
Qualifications
You have:
* Experience of working with operational processes based products and if possible marketplaces.
* The desire to drive both delivery and discovery processes.
* A curious mind that enables you to self-learn about new customer problem areas or opportunities.
* A strong belief in the role and value of data, and are not afraid to test and learn, using these feedback loops to continuously improve the product.
* A superpower that enables you to combine active listening with being inquisitive with people across engineering, customer care, retail, marketing, supply chain and finance.
* Experience collaborating with product design, engineering teams and insights (and beyond!) to successfully get your products to market.
* A skill of taking people on a journey as we instil a product mindset across ASOS.
