Description
The junior HR Business Partner will have responsibility for the following:
1. Work with managers and key stakeholders to help build the people capability, focusing on recruitment, retention, engagement, and the overall employee experience.
2. Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to support the business strategy from a people perspective, including recruitment of new talent, retention of key people, and reward strategies.
3. Use HR information systems to gather people data and insights on key people metrics such as absence, staff turnover, cost per hire, etc.
4. Provide a proactive HR service, including employee relations, resourcing, people development, performance management & reward, as well as involvement in workforce planning and resource management.
5. Ensure compliance with employment law requirements by keeping up to date with new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising managers on actions as appropriate.
6. Work with the HR team to create and maintain a company culture and people approach which supports the business strategy.
7. Contribute to the implementation of the people strategies and plans, including employee engagement initiatives.
8. Effectively manage employee relations cases.
9. Create and update people policies and procedures.
10. Manage internal employee communications and events.
Profile
The junior HR Business Partner role is ideal for an experienced advisor looking to gain partnering experience. You will need to be/have:
1. Proven experience in Human Resources, either in a HR Generalist, Advisor, or Business Partner role.
2. CIPD qualified or working towards ideally.
3. Experience of dealing with end-to-end employee relations processes.
4. The ability to influence at all levels.
5. Proactive nature.
6. Available to start a new role immediately or on short notice.
