Do you currently have a strong level of understanding in processing payroll from end to end and are looking for a new opportunity? If so, we are looking for a Payroll Assistant and this position can consider both full time and part time hours.
Main Duties:
1. Collect, compile, and enter payroll data using appropriate software.
2. Calculate and post payroll deductions.
3. Process payroll by established deadlines.
4. Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors.
5. Update payroll records by recording changes including auto enrolment pension, loan payments, salary increases.
6. Process new employees, terminations, and transfers.
7. Calculate holiday entitlement.
8. Address employee's pay-related concerns and provide accurate payroll information.
9. Assistance with general office administration duties from time to time.
The successful candidate will need to be analytical, methodical, and numerical with the ability to multi-task and be highly organised.
This role is ideally 36.25 hours / 5 days per week; however, part time hours / days can also be considered. There is also the option of flexible and hybrid or office working available.
