About the Role
As a Bank Support Worker at Linwood House, you'll provide vital care and assistance to our clients and working as part of a dedicated team, you'll help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment that fosters recovery.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide practical and emotional support to clients, guiding them towards an abstinent lifestyle.
* Assist therapists in risk management planning and reviews.
* Ensure clients follow programme guidelines and support investigations into any breaches, including substance testing.
* Complete client intakes, assessments, and discharges efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records and update client databases.
* Coordinate transfers and referrals between agencies and support services.
* Assist clients with medication reminders and conduct audits.
* Help individuals develop recovery plans tailored to their needs.
* Support clients with external appointments, providing transport assistance where necessary.
* Assist with life skills development, including housing, benefits, and daily living support.
What We're Looking For
Desirable skills & experience:
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Clear verbal and written communication at all levels.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Excellent listening skills with an empathetic approach.
* Strong negotiation and boundary-setting abilities.
* A calm, non-judgmental attitude, even under pressure.
* Good customer service skills.
