We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our supportive and dynamic team at a secondary school in Durham, starting Easter 2025. Position: Cover Supervisor Pay: £90 to £100 per day Contract: Full-Time Start Date: Easter 2025 About the Role: You will deliver pre-planned lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, ensuring a smooth continuation of learning in the absence of the regular teacher. Manage classroom behaviour, maintaining a focused and positive environment where students remain engaged and on task. Play an active role in school life, contributing to extracurricular activities and helping foster a well-rounded school experience. What We're Looking For: Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with students of varying abilities. While a degree is desirable, it’s not essential – a passion for education is what matters most. A child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
