Role Purpose
The Husbandry Regional Manager will serve as the primary leader for all husbandry services and client management within their assigned region, overseeing the full scope of commercial development, operational execution, and customer satisfaction. This role carries end-to-end accountability for the delivery of services in line with company standards, client expectations, and operational excellence.
As the company’s regional representative, you will ensure effective coordination with HQ departments while leading local activities autonomously, maintaining client relationships, managing supplier networks, and ensuring service excellence at all stages of the port call cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Regional Management
* Manage all regional activities related to husbandry services and implement company strategies.
* Act as the regional point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
Commercial Development & Client Management
* Lead the response to RFQs, pricing proposals, and negotiations.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region.
Operational Oversight
* Supervise all port operations, coordinate with suppliers, shipping agents, and port authorities for smooth execution.
Supplier Relationship Management
* Develop and maintain a trusted network of local service providers.
* Negotiate supplier terms and ensure delivery standards.
Financial Management
* Control regional budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize operational costs driving efficiency and profitability across all activities.
Reporting & Compliance
* Provide regular updates to HQ on regional performance, forecasts, and challenges.
Team Collaboration
* Support the development of local teams and ensure proper training and guidance.
REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS
Profile & Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in port operations management or shipping agency roles.
* Experience of handling naval vessels and military operations is highly desirable.
* Thorough knowledge of port authority regulations, customs clearance, and compliance.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
* Fluent in English (additional regional languages are an advantage).
* Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
* Proficiency in MS Office and maritime-related management software.
