Assist with the production of capital requirements analysis, influencing key decisions like reinsurance strategy and business planning. Maintain and develop investment-related reporting on performance, risk, and portfolio structure while managing a centralised investment database. Collaborate with the team to assess Return on Capital (RoC) and generate improvement strategies, while reviewing quarterly and year-end SCR calculations. Conduct research into new asset classes and assist in strategic asset allocation modelling, driving innovation and investment growth. The ideal candidate will have Internship experience within a financial institution Knowledge of actuarial techniques, market practice, relevant legislation and insurance market environment, awareness of emerging market developments. Relevant degree for actuarial and / or investment work (minimum 21). Experience with capital modelling software (eg Tyche, Igloo, Remetrica etc.) Strong and broad experience of actuarial work related to capital gained in a general insurance company or consultancy Experience of SII and ORSA modelling Why you should join us At NHBC we are proud to be unique.
