Job Title: Refrigeration Trainer
Salary: £36,500 (starting)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Trainer to join our team. As a Refrigeration Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our apprentices in Mechanical refrigeration engineering techniques.
Responsibilities
* To train and assess students in the Refrigeration Training Area, covering theoretical and practical technical skills in line with the Training Plan and Sultan Training procedures.
* Act as the Module Responsible Instructor (MRI) and maintain and update relevant documentation.
* Provide feedback on student performance and be responsible for their duty of care during training sessions.
* Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on training equipment, using your held qualifications and experience.
* Evaluate Company health, safety, and environmental procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
* Maintain training aids and facilities according to classroom risk assessments.
* Organise, invigilate, and mark examinations for relevant courses, following Authority guidelines.
* Assess course performance and provide feedback to the Quality Cell and Department Training Manager.
* Monitor attendance and report missing students to relevant departments.
* Offer specialist advice to other groups where competent.
* Complete mandatory training and 6-monthly delivery assessment.
* Maintain a portfolio of experience and training records.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualities and experience:
* A minimum qualification of Level 3 National Diploma or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
* Substantial consolidated experience within Marine Mechanical systems, including hand techniques and engineering skills.
* F-Gas certification.
* The L4 Trainer Course (successful completion) or equivalent is desirable.
