Founded over 20 years ago by three entrepreneurial women with a passion for beautiful, practical and comfortable homes, OKA is more than a furniture and homeware retailer: it is a love affair with living well. We inspire people to confidently create a home that reflects their personality, a space where nothing should be too precious or perfect to be enjoyed with family and friends. British-born, today we have 13 stores across the UK, an established Interior Design and Trade business, a mail-order service and a thriving website. We are currently looking to recruit a part-time Interior Sales Assistant (hours negotiable) to support our Retail Team, based at our brand-new concession in Redbrick, the department store for furniture and interiors. Located near Leeds, Redbrick is a beautifully renovated Victorian textile mill building, which is home to a mix of 40 vibrant lifestyle concessions. This 140,000 sqft. retail destination delivers an exciting opportunity for customers to shop a curated mix of furniture, interior design, lighting, home furnishings, bedrooms, kitchens, art, accessories and gifts in one eclectic space. OKA Redbrick is our second concession, following the successful introduction of the brand into the renowned Hoopers Department Store in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Here, our OKA collection is to be displayed across a spacious, ground floor space. A unique shopping concept, we believe that the combination of established brands and independent niche retailers at Redbrick, offers a compelling shopping destination for our OKA customers. Located just 15 minutes’ drive from Leeds and 45 minutes to Manchester, Redbrick is easily accessible from all motorway networks (5 minutes from J40, M1 and J27, M62), and is in close proximity to the Junction 27 Retail Park. Additional amenities include free on-site parking, two on-site restaurants/cafes, lift and escalator access to all floors and 7-day trading.
