We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Therapy Assistant in the Therapy Team which comprises Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Therapy Assistants and specialist Drama, Art and Music Therapists. The school caters for young people aged 5 - 19 with complex and severe learning difficulties, many of whom are on the Autistic Spectrum, and other associated difficulties. Key Details: Permanent contract to start ASAP 36 hours a week, term time only Monday is 8:30-16:00, Tuesday-Thursday is 8:30-16:15 and Fridays are 8:30-15:45. Based in an independent non-maintained specialist school and collegeNo prior experience is necessary as full training will be given but a positive "can do" attitude, along with physical and mental resilience is essential. This role might suit someone who has recently finished their degree or has been working as a TA or LSA and is considering a move into therapies or an SEN environment.
