The Role:
We are looking for a highly experienced Medical Operations Lead who will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of medical projects and clinical infrastructure designed to enhance global healthcare initiatives. The Medical Operations Lead will be leading efforts to integrate innovative technologies, such as AI, cloud-based solutions, and digital platforms, to optimise healthcare processes, establish robust infrastructure, and ultimately transform the field of medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership and Management
* You will be leading the design, launch, and management of EIT’s flagship medical and clinical infrastructure projects, ensuring collaboration with top researchers and industry experts for successful outcomes.
* Develop project roadmaps, monitor progress, and maintain high standards of clinical and scientific impact.
Project Screening and Funding
* Oversee project selection, funding, and eligibility criteria, ensuring clear communication with all partners and research groups.
Optimising Systems and Processes
* Create and implement efficient systems to manage projects from design to completion, ensuring quality and consistency across all initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Guidance
* Provide direction, support, and communication tools to engage stakeholders. Build and grow partnerships that align with EIT’s objectives, managing relationships to support both project delivery and long-term goals.
Liaison and Partnership Stewardship
* Serve as the primary liaison for local and strategic partners, fostering strong relationships through proactive engagement and partnership management.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in a relevant Healthcare subject or able to demonstrate strong work experience within a similar role
* Proven experience in project leadership and management within research, pharmaceutical or biotech organisation
* Competent in working with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Confluence)
* Excellent operational and leadership skills, with experience managing teams and complex projects.
* Strong analytical skills in solving problems and an ability to engage in content discussions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners.
Additional nice to have skills:
* Professional certification such as PRINCE2
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
Terms of Appointment:
* You must have the right to work permanently in the UK with a willingness to travel as necessary.
* You will live in or within easy commuting distance of, Oxford.
* During peak periods, some longer hours may be required and some working across multiple time zones due to the global nature of the programme.
