Our not-for-profit client who are based in Nottinghamshire are looking for a driven & enthusiastic HR Advisor to join their growing HR team. This role is super busy and varied, where you will be responsible for your own area of the organisation, providing support and a hands-on approach on a wide range of HR matters. Ideally you will have knowledge/ experience of employment law, be able to lead on ER and take a proactive approach to resolution of casework. You will coach & support leaders in their management of people issues, provide advice on best practice and support their developing people strategy.

Duties within the role:
- Advise on matters concerning employee relations
- Manage casework & provide advice
- Provide best practice HR advice and guidance to all employees
- Coach and support line managers in handling people issues
- Working closely with designated investigating officers to advise, coach and support with disciplinary and grievance investigations
- Manage the coordination of scheduling disciplinary, grievance, capability and appeal hearings
- Contribute to the development and delivery of HR projects and initiatives
- Support continuous improvement of HR practices
- Access and utilise management information reports to support the application of people management processes
- Coach and mentor other members of the HR Team
It is essential you have previous experience of dealing with ER cases, The ideal candidate will have previous experience at working at Advisor level or looking to take that next step in to an Advisor role. You will need to be CIPD level 3 as a minimum or working towards this.
