Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality physics lessons to students
* Plan and prepare engaging and informative lesson materials
* Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
* Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
* Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Physics or related field
* Proven experience teaching Physics at secondary level
* Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum for Physics
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to engage and motivate students
* Effective classroom management skills
* Proficient in using educational technology
Desirable Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Experience teaching A-Level Physics
This role involves working within a school environment, following the academic calendar. Regular working hours with some flexibility required for extracurricular activities and meetings.
