The role will have the responsibility of assisting the Development team with designing treatments and pitch documents for international streamers and broadcast networks. Role Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to support the design and development of pitch documents, treatments, and other marketing materials for our documentary and formats projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cinematic storytelling, strong design skills, and the ability to visually communicate complex narratives and ideas in a clear, compelling, and professional way.
Duties include:
1. Collaborate with the creative team to design pitch decks, treatments, and promotional materials for television documentaries and television formats (for example, reality shows, competitions).
2. Create visually engaging layouts, graphics, and typography to communicate the narrative and tone of documentary concepts.
3. Develop creative and consistent visual themes to ensure branding and messaging align with project goals.
4. Maintain and adhere to deadlines, managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
5. Assist in the creation of mood boards, concept designs, and visual assets to support pitching and marketing strategies.
6. Work closely with senior team and producers to refine and improve designs based on feedback.
7. Ensure design deliverables meet company standards and align with project goals.
8. Stay up-to-date with design trends, software, and techniques to continuously improve creative output.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
1. A degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of industry experience working with a documentary production company or advertising agency.
2. Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and composition.
3. Ability to take creative direction and execute designs efficiently.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
5. A portfolio that demonstrates strong design skills and creativity, particularly in producing pitch documents or visual storytelling materials.
6. Experience with video editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus, but not required.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and visual.
