Live a life more Virgin Our Team Our team is part of the first line of defence financial crime team and provides oversight and guidance to our operational and front-line colleagues on the delivery of financial crime risk processes. What you’ll be doing You’ll oversee the performance of operational teams conducting financial crime risk processes including CDD, Screening & Transaction Monitoring (TM). You’ll help us to improve the customer experience when updating CDD/EDD or gathering customer information to understand TM alerts. You’ll play a leading role in planning the Book of Work for the Operational team to complete and use this to oversee operational performance. You’ll guide our operational teams to optimise their procedures. You’ll support our Commercial teams to make sure that customers are onboarded compliantly. You’ll be an approver for high-risk customer reviews. You’ll provide expertise to complement our financial crime transformation programme. We need you to have A strong background of Financial Crime Risk in banking or financial services, especially Operations Experience in planning and oversight of a “Book of Work” for operational teams, managing performance against this. Demonstrable experience in using management information (MI) to identify opportunities to improve processes, forecast operational demand spikes and guiding teams on managing operational volumes Experience on leading indirect teams by influence and negotiation Well developed decision making and judgement with experience of approving High Risk customer reviews.
