Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 Per day Job Duties: 1. Delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher 2. Following the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in learning 3. Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment 4. Providing feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues encountered 5. Collaborating with other staff members to support the overall educational goals of the school Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Enhanced DBS check Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Previous experience working as a teacher in a school setting Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles Effective classroom management techniques Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience working as a supply teacher Working Conditions: Work primarily in a school classroom setting Interact with students, school staff, and parents on a regular basis Potential for temporary assignments in different schools Adherence to school policies and procedures All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
