Aureos are looking for a power systems studies manager to lead the delivery of power system studies on projects ranging across renewables, battery energy storage systems, transmission and distribution. Duties and Responsibilities


* Establish and use of the powers system modelling tools.
* Deliver all power systems modelling and studies on running bids and projects within Aureos, such as load flow, short circuit, harmonics studies, transient analysis, etc. across high and medium voltage levels, 400kV, 275kV, 132kV, 66kV and 33kV.
* Propose substation configurations and concepts and produce technical reports recommending planning of asset expansion and replacement.
* Actively drive safety by design and contribute to hazard review meetings.
* Carry out site surveys and coordinate work with site teams as required.
* Review and propose concepts and studies based on tender information.
* Create design and equipment technical specifications.
* Support project management in terms of identifying and assessing project risks and opportunities.
* Liaise with project design manager on engineering budgets and manage engineering progress, labour forecasts, cost-to-complete estimates.
