A Local Authority in the Midlands is seeking enthusiastic EHOs to join their dedicated Housing Team. What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll play a key role in improving housing conditions by: Conducting HMO licensing inspections and ensuring compliance. Supporting enforcement action, including issuing notices and preparing cases. Investigating housing disrepair complaints and working with landlords to resolve issues. Gaining hands-on experience in legal proceedings, including tribunal representation. Learning from experienced officers while developing your own caseload. What We’re Looking For: A degree in Environmental Health (or equivalent). HHSRS (Housing Health & Safety Rating System) certification. A proactive and eager-to-learn approach, with an interest in housing enforcement. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
