Office Administrator / Supply Chain Assistant

Working hours: 8.30 - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Own transport essential due to location.
We are seeking an Office Administrator / Supply Chain Assistant to join a fast-paced, rapidly growing and award-winning medium-sized business on the outskirts of Glastonbury. This is an exciting time to join the company as they are experiencing extensive growth and as a result, the role offers tremendous opportunities to develop and thrive. This is an interesting and varied role which will evolve alongside the business needs. The role could be suitable for a college leaver or recent graduate.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate stock records to support other departments in achieving excellent performance standards across the business.
2. Implement and maintain stock check schedule for all stock locations.
3. Administer stock adjustments accurately for audits and recording purposes.
4. Maintain traceability requirements and participate in traceability challenges.
5. Identify and report stock shortages to Supply Chain Manager, liaise accordingly with relevant departments.
6. Act as the point of contact for any systems and stock issues, finding resolutions as a Super User.
7. Promote high standards of compliance for stock management.
8. Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery timelines, and address potential delays.
9. Process and check purchase invoices.
10. Prepare reports for Company and Senior Management Team meetings.
11. File and manage Production records.
12. Maintain raw materials storage area.
13. Administer product packaging creation and proofread.
14. Maintain and update product and supplier records.
15. Assist Supply Chain managers in management matters as requested.
16. Assist in the general cleanliness and tidiness of premises.
This is a varied and challenging role which includes some requirement for lifting and moving. The suitable candidate will have good numeracy and IT skills, and be an effective communicator.
Experience Required:
1. Attention to detail.
2. Numerate with excellent communication skills.
3. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
