Job Summary:
We are seeking an internal salesperson to join our team. Your hours of work would be 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday, however we can also consider fewer/different hours for the right person. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing your accounts. Your main goal will be to quote customers via phone calls and email, and turning those quotes into bookings. You will also be expected to get regular updates on deliveries for customers and liase with the drivers to make sure the jobs go as smooth as possible.
Duties:
* - Quote our customers via phone calls and email
* - Convert quotes into bookings
* - Give our customers regular updates
* - Liase with the drivers to make sure they have all of the information they need
* - Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
* - Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
* - Keep track of your customers spend and encourage new/repeat business
Requirements:
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills - transport can be very unpredictable!
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities over the phone and email
* Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* You must be comfortable giving bad news to customers, it's a very underrated trait!
