We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Deputy Care Manager to join our specialist residential care home in Norwich, supporting younger adults with physical disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Support the Registered Manager in the overall management of the service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care Lead, mentor, and supervise the care team to promote best practices and professional development Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding protocols, and health & safety standards Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and medication management to meet individual needs Act as a point of contact for residents, families, external professionals, and regulatory bodies Manage staff rotas, recruitment, inductions, and ongoing training to maintain a skilled and engaged workforce Support with budget management, resource allocation, and operational efficiency Foster a positive and inclusive environment, promoting dignity, independence, and choice for all residents Lead on quality assurance initiatives and drive continuous improvement in service delivery What We're Looking For: ✔ Proven experience in a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Support Worker role within a residential or supported living setting ✔ Strong knowledge of physical disabilities, complex care needs, and younger adult support ✔ NVQ Level 3 or 5 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards Level 5) ✔ A thorough understanding of CQC standards, regulatory frameworks, and safeguarding protocols ✔ Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills ✔ A compassionate, proactive, and resident-focused approach to care delivery This is a rewarding leadership role that offers the chance to make a real impact in the lives of younger adults with physical disabilities.
