SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90.00 - £100.00 per day
Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Rushden. This full-time, temp-to-perm role involves working closely with teaching personnel to support learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH). You will play a crucial role in providing an engaging and supportive learning experience for students.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience working with children or young people with ASD and SEMH needs.
* Knowledge of Forest School principles and outdoor education practices.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of individual students and provide tailored support.
* Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN, outdoor education, or related fields are desirable.
Additional Information:
* This role involves travel between the four Forest School sites in Devon.
* A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential.
* An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
