Are you an experienced Collections Specialist with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service?
We are expanding our team of skilled Collections Agents, who play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of NHS organisations! In this position, you will assist customers with their overdue accounts, supporting them to deliver timely payments, all whilst ensuring an outstanding service.
As we implement growth and improvement initiatives this year and beyond, there will be ample opportunities for the right candidate to develop their skills and advance their career, supported by our company’s comprehensive training and development programs.
To facilitate your initial training and support, new starters will need to be on site Monday to Friday for approximately the first 6 weeks.
Once you have settled in your new role, you will be based from home Tuesday to Friday and join the team each Monday, in our modern office environment in Leeds, with ample free parking and onsite refreshments provided.
What you'll be doing:
1. Build relationships with customers and support them to recover missed payments.
2. Resolve general invoice queries over the phone and via email.
3. Remain professional while showing compassion in finding an amicable solution to increase your collection success rate.
4. Create appropriate repayment plans to help customers clear their outstanding debt.
5. Collaborate with our clients to resolve any disputed invoice queries.
6. Complete administrative tasks such as running reports on ledgers.
What you’ll bring:
1. Previous experience in FCA regulated collections or accounts receivable environment is essential.
2. Experience within a collections and/or complaints handling role that requires firm but fair negotiations to achieve the outcome that all parties are happy with.
3. Clarity in your communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations with resilience and sensitivity.
4. A passion, enthusiasm and empathy for delivering a high quality of customer care to clients.
5. Proficiency with MS Excel with the administration skills to handle detailed accounts clearly and concisely.
