The post is based within the Rapid Response Team. This service provides a multi-disciplinary urgent assessment and crisis intervention service within a 2 hour response, and at times a 2-6 hours response to patients in the community with the aim of preventing hospital admission operating 7 days per week 8am to 8pm.
Our service is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic staff nurse who is excited to be part of our team and who is willing/interested to progress their career.
Main duties of the job
* To comply with the duties placed on employees by Bromley Healthcare’s Health and Safety Policy and Related Procedures.
* Observe the confidentiality of records and health information at all times.
* To undertake appropriate training to meet individual developmental needs within the role.
* To work with the Rapid Response Lead /ANP /ACP to facilitate changes in practice across the service.
* To respond to urgent referrals into the service from GP/111/LAS/Care Homes and HCPs.

Qualifications
* Diploma/Degree Adult Nursing
Professional registration
* NMC registration
Experience
* Experience of working in/with a multi-disciplinary team.
* Community or acute nursing experience.
* Recent experience of administering intravenous drugs.
Skills
* Organisational skills such as delegation, prioritisation and negotiation.
* Sound knowledge and understanding of Clinical Governance.
* Car driver with clean current UK licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
* Qualified & competent to carry out male/female catheterisation.
