We have a vacancy for a Service Manager in our Community Care Co-ordination Administration Services based at Milford hospital. Do you have previous management or team lead skills? Are you looking for a development opportunity as a band 4 to develop into a band 5 role?
As our Administration Service Manager, you will provide leadership, management, and support for our administration team. You will ensure the team delivers the required administration services to the CCC and clinical services daily, working with both administration and clinical staff. You will use your leadership skills to develop a cohesive team culture that embraces positive thinking and development.
As the service manager, you will lead by example and will take an active role within the team processing referral calls and undertaking other administration tasks. You will need good IT skills to deliver this role.
You will have the opportunity to use a variety of people management skills within the role.
This is a busy and fast-paced role as we are never certain how many referrals we receive per day or the scope of the patient’s health needs. You will need to be able to prioritise tasks and keep track of unfinished tasks, so you will need good personal organisational skills.
You will be working closely with our other service managers as well as our clinical & administration staff.
Candidates will need to be forward-thinking and have a problem-solving approach, with excellent communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is an exciting role and will give the post holder scope to be actively involved in the future development of our community services.
