Salary: Up to £35, 700 per annum
Contract/Hours: Permanent Full Time - 40 hours per week

A bit about the role
In the role of Nursery Manager, You'll oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are met. You will lead and inspire a team of childcare professionals to create a nurturing environment while developing and implementing engaging educational programmes that promote children's learning and development.
Building strong and supportive relationships with parents, children, and team members will be a key part of your role. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies while maintaining a positive atmosphere that encourages enthusiasm and proactive engagement. The ideal candidate will have an energetic and forward-thinking attitude, a positive attitude and strong communication skills to motivate and support the team.
About the service
Spring the levels is a nurturing 36 place nursery located within the Levels Childrens Centre in Langport. We provide a warm and friendly environment for children aged 3 months to five years. Our highly qualified and dedicated team are passionate about nurturing children and promoting their well-being.
As a nursery manager you will lead the team ensuring we offer exceptional childcare service to our community. The nursery is open to everyone providing both full time and sessional childcare options. We focus on setting a solid foundation for learning, developing social relationships and friendships and most importantly having fun.
Spring The Levels works collaboratively with a network of spring nurseries in the local area, providing a robust support system for nursery managers and staff. This close-knit community fosters shared resource is and best practises, ensuring that everyone has the tools they need to succeed in delivering high quality childcare.

What you will need:
Our Job Description outlines the requirements of the role, but the 'must haves' are:
* Minimum level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
* Leadership or management experience, in a childcare setting.
* Experience of working in a senior role within a nursery setting or centre working with children aged 0 to 5 years and their families.
* Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements and relevant current legislation.
* Understanding of child protection processes, safeguarding and working with vulnerable children.
* Commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory working practice with children, families, colleagues and the community.
