We have a rare and very exciting opportunity to join our Assets and Facilities team as an Compliance Audit Manager. Reporting to the Senior Asset and Facilities Manager, you will be working across the business to ensure efficient and operationally compliant delivery of Asset & Facilities Services across the East Midlands Railway Estate.

We are looking for someone experienced in Planned & Reactive work schedules/programmes with good all-round knowledge of Commercial & Domestic Building Maintenance processes.
As the Compliance Audit Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Undertaking periodic compliance audits on planned maintenance & statutory compliance across the East Midlands Railway Estate with key subcontractors to ensure a satisfactory level of fire, legionella, Mechanical & Electrical compliance is maintained.
* Carrying out proactive management of the fire maintenance contract to ensure services are delivered within the agreed service level agreements are met and value for money is achieved.
* Producing periodic reports detailing statutory compliance and remedial work status and current business risks and have the ability to present at internally and externally at senior and exec level.
* Strategically manage the PHS Toilet hygiene contract ensuring the agreed service level agreements are met to guarantee East Midlands Railway achieve the SQR benchmark is consistently attained and value for money is achieved.
* Undertaking periodic audit/reviews of fixed assets and equipment condition across East Midlands Railway Estate including Network Rail assets, producing an fixed assets and equipment condition/risk reports.
* Implementing the winterisation process, policy, procedure and contract management ensuring the safe operation on all East Midlands Railway stations, depots and offices premises ensuring value for money producing an annual plan to the Department of Transport.
* Leading on a full portfolio asset management compliance, ensuring LOLER, PUWER, Water and Gas legislation is maintained to a legal level of Compliance that complies with the Health and Safety Executive regulations and will position East Midlands Railway in a compliant level for any ORR audit
The ideal candidate will be a confident, natural leader with the ability to maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and other key stakeholders. While it is important to have strong experience in process side of the role, we are looking for someone who is also passionate and driven, with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in:
* Analysing data sets & recognising trends
* Producing and implementing Risk Assessments
* Working with Cloud Based Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and CAFM systems (Computer Aided Facilities Management)
* Writing detailed word and numerical reports
Ideally you will also have a sound understanding of regulations applicable to the investment management sector such as MIFID II and AIFMD
