This is a key role in Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis Centre’s Core service that provides specific support services to girls and women. The role requires a strong commitment to anti-discriminatory and equality work and must demonstrate experience working directly with girls and women. The post holder will be comfortable and confident in representing the service externally across agencies. Experience and understanding of working within an organisation within a feminist, equality, and human rights framework is preferable for this role. Joining an already established team, this role will work for the Service Manager for the Project whilst also being accountable for maintaining and applying the values, principles and competencies for the role to the Director of the Centre. This role is possible due to funding received from Delivering Equally Safe.
Location: Glasgow City Centre Head Office and community bases in Glasgow, Inverclyde, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, and West Dunbartonshire

Amina Muslim Women's Resource Centre (Amina MWRC) is an intersectional organisation, by and for women, dedicated to empowering Muslim and Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) women in Scotland by giving them opportunities to have their voices heard and to improve their skills and become more confident in participating in their own communities and at a wider level.

Job Role
The role aims to increase the employability prospects of Muslim, Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) women. The Employability Project Officer will engage with, empower, and support Muslim and BME women of all backgrounds, skills, and abilities via provision of our holistic, tailored employability support service.
Muslim and BME women face additional barriers to work and so a flexible and creative approach will be required. As well as individual action planning, the Officer will support individuals with job search, CV building, job applications and interview techniques.
All posts we recruit require a female applicant under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, and Part 1. Section 7(2) e of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975.
Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre (LRCC); established in 2004, is an independent charity with the objective of relieving the distress and improving the welfare of women and girls who, at any time in their lives, have been subjected to any form of sexual violence. LRCC works collaboratively with 17 Rape Crisis Centres across Scotland who also adhere to National Service Standards.
Today we deliver on the following:
* Provide trauma informed therapeutic support to women and girls who have experienced rape and all forms of sexual violence (aged 12+) as well as their friends, family, partners and workers. We also provide crisis support options for male survivors and survivors of all gender identities.
* Provide advocacy support to those considering or engaging with the criminal justice process; there are 4 justice advocacy practitioner positions currently operating in Lanarkshire. The team manager provides induction, training and ongoing support to this post.
* Work in partnership with communities, partner agencies and other key stakeholders to improve understanding of gender-based violence, provide trauma informed responses to survivors of sexual violence and develop community level prevention initiatives.
* Deliver prevention work with young people as part of the Rape Crisis Scotland National Prevention Programme.
Background Information: National Advocacy Service
The National Advocacy Service is funded by the Scottish Government, with the fund being administered by Rape Crisis Scotland and delivered by local rape crisis centres. The service aims to provide support and advocacy to survivors who have engaged or are considering engaging with the criminal justice system following a sexual crime.
The broad objectives are:
* An improvement in the support available to survivors of rape and serious sexual crime.
* An improvement in the experience of the criminal justice process for survivors of rape and serious sexual crime.
* The development of a better understanding of motivations whether or not to proceed within the criminal justice process, and what difference advocacy support makes to this decision.
The Centre is based in central Hamilton; however, justice advocacy practitioners spend parts of their working time in locations such as court buildings and police stations. This post is funded by the Scottish Government and is classed as maternity cover for a period of 10 months.
Purpose of the Post:
The overall aim of this post is to provide support and justice advocacy to survivors who are engaged, or considering engaging, with the criminal justice system following an experience of sexual violence.

Our movement is informed, shaped and led by and for young women and for over 100 years, we have been a collective force that has, and will continue to, change things for the better for all young women across Scotland.
Our Programme Worker will work directly with young women and girls to create safe spaces and equip them with skills and confidence to lead change on issues that matter to them, supporting them to amplify their voices in their communities and in decision-making spaces.
This role will support the planning and delivery of a wide range of programmes using a youth work approach, both in-person in schools, communities and further education settings and online and will work hard to extend our reach to even more young women and girls.

Fife Women’s Aid are looking to recruit a part-time support worker to join our Women’s Support Team.
As a service, we are expanding our capacity to better meet the needs of women who have experienced domestic abuse. Candidates should have good communication skills and a passion for supporting recovery from domestic abuse.
The successful applicants will have at least SVQ Level III or equivalent level of qualification in health and social care or other relevant subject, or a willingness to work towards a qualification.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of motivation and have the ability to work on their own as well as part of a team. An ability to cover on-call is an advantage (additional payments are made for this role).
