Role description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual who has experience with the UK Tax system to help support our client facing teams with technology and software solutions. This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, problem solving, and has good interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
* Support tax teams with new processes due to legislative changes such as MTD
* Assist in research and trials of alternative tax technology solutions
* Deliver training on processes and software
* Utilise emerging technologies such as Gen AI and robotics
* Support teams in developing best practice processes
* Support the implementation of new technology solutions for the tax practice
* Meet with team members to discuss where improvements are needed to enhance our systems
* Work with other specialists to consider how data analysis and data science can be used
* Involvement in forming tax technology training content and supporting the Learning and Development team as needed
Training will be provided on all software solutions, and ongoing support will be given by our team of IT experts. This is a varied role with scope for development, utilising the firm’s agile working policy with a primary location in one of Crowe’s current offices.

* An understanding of UK tax systems is essential
* Excellent organisational skills are essential
* Experience of working in accountancy practice is desirable
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is desirable
* Able to work on own initiative, but also be a team player
Knowledge of tax software is desirable but not essential.
