Your new role As Administrative Support for the Credit Control Team, you will provide essential administrative support to the Credit Control Team. Your responsibilities will include: Management of Cash Receipts: Accurately processing and recording incoming payments. Customer Account Maintenance: Ensuring customer accounts are up-to-date and accurately reflect transactions. Provision of Delivery Ticket Information: Supplying requested delivery ticket details promptly and efficiently. Query Resolution: Addressing and resolving customer queries in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities: Booking of cash receipts (BACS, cheque and credit card payments) to customer accounts and allocating them against the correct invoices. Provision of requested delivery tickets to ensure payments are made on time. Assisting other members of the Credit Control team with the resolution of customer queries (ie. price queries, providing copies of invoices & PODs). Reconciliation of customer accounts to allocate historical transactions and maintain an accurate and up-to-date debtors' ledger. Modifying of credit limits following rating changes from credit insurers & credit reference agencies or as directed by the Credit Manager. Raising manual sales invoices in conjunction with the Accounts Team. Other credit control / administrative tasks as required. What you'll need to succeed You will be local and no longer than a 1-hour commute to the Brentford /Hounslow area. Ideally, looking for a candidate who is either a recent graduate or school-leaver with ambition and vigour looking to really start their accountancy career or either an experienced credit controller who can hit the ground running and add value to the team. Organised with strong attention to detail. Experience of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Excellent communication skills via telephone and email. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Team player and with a 'can do' attitude. What you'll get in return The role is paying circa £27,000K per annum with an opportunity to earn a bonus. This position has a great opportunity for progression in credit control or a more all round accounting role with opportunity for ACCA, CIMA, AAT or CICM study support.
