Key Responsibilities
1. Perform routine histopathology laboratory tasks, focusing on the microtomy sectioning of various tissue types (standard, mega, singles, levels, and cores).
2. Conduct routine H&E staining utilizing the Leica Spectra system.
3. Ensure high standards of quality control and adherence to laboratory protocols.
4. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely delivery of results.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Histology/Cellular Pathology.
* Proven experience in histopathology techniques, particularly microtomy and H&E staining.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
