GSL Education Lincoln are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Grantham.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide support, encouragement, and guidance to help students achieve their best.
Responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant:
* Supporting students with SEND/SEMH in a classroom setting.
* Assisting teachers in delivering tailored educational plans.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Working 1:1 or with small groups to support learning and development.
* Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for Learning Support Assistant:
* Experience working with SEND and SEMH students (essential).
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
* Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role.
