An exciting opportunity has arisen with Sandwell Council for an experienced Project Manager to assist the Care Qualitymission (CQC) assurance assessment. This will be a full-time temporary assignment.
Your new role
The CQC will be looking for clear triangulation of feedback from people who use services and their carers, providers and Sandwell’s own assessment of it is doing well, it’s challenges and improvement plans. As the Project Manager, you will also provide support with the development of a robust Adult Social Care Strategy and Strategic Plan to assist and enable residents in Sandwell to live independently in themunity. This role will also include:
1. Preparation of an Information Return on key areas of policy, practice & performance.
2. Rewriting aprehensive self-assessment of the local authority’s delivery of ASC.
3. Analysing the current challenges that Sandwell face and also share good news.
4. Preparing a list of key partners in the voluntary andmunity sector,missioned providers and other key stakeholders.
5. Provide briefing sessions to staff, members and stakeholders to ensure they are prepared for the CQC assessment and have a clear understanding of the key messages.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have experience, knowledge and understanding of Adult Social Care and Care Qualitymission assessment of local authorities. Significant project management knowledge and experience, alongside being organised and able to prioritise effectively. This role is an immediate start following a successful interview and passingpliance, we will also require 2 references from your 2 most recent employers toplete registration and to process your application to the next stage.
