We create world-class exhibitions and live events for clients all over the world. We typically deliver 200+ events per year across 6 continents.
Most of our team are based in Bristol, Stratford upon Avon and North Devon. We also have offices in London, San Francisco and Singapore.
We work with a range of B2B clients across most industry sectors, from leading brands through to Government departments, and our events include anything and everything, from conferences and exhibitions, through to product launches, brand activations and roadshows.
Role
About the role…
We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Account Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Client Services Director, you will play a key role in managing and growing relationships with small to mid-size accounts.
Working closely with Account Directors, you will identify opportunities for growth, lead new business pitches, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional client support throughout project delivery.
Key responsibilities:
1. Maintain and build strong working relationships with clients, from initial contact through onboarding, delivery, wash up, and continuous improvement.
2. Deliver further revenue growth through effective account management, reporting, and outstanding customer experience.
3. Understand the client’s business and sector to brief teams on strategic client objectives.
4. Ensure smooth transition into delivery and conduct regular check-ins with the client and delivery team.
5. Identify and convert opportunities to grow relationships and revenues for existing clients.
6. Develop and maintain Account Growth Plans with the Client Services Director.
7. Be responsible for the financial growth of your account(s) and proactively identify new business opportunities.
8. Lead new business pitches and collaborate with all teams across the business.
9. Work with Commercial to analyze and review client revenue, margins, and efficiencies.
10. Ensure contractual KPIs and SLAs are adhered to.
11. Proactively address and troubleshoot client challenges as needed.
12. Develop and implement account growth plans, KPIs, and targets.
13. Research and prepare client proposals and pitch responses.
14. Stay abreast of industry developments, innovations, and technologies.
15. Develop and continuously improve Account Management tools and strategies.
16. Be an effective ambassador for Bray Leino Events.
About the person…
1. Experience working in an events or marketing agency environment.
2. Ability to build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships.
3. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
5. Experience working toward financial targets and tracking progress.
6. Experience creating and managing event budgets for live events and exhibitions.
7. Willingness to travel if required.
8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
