The Role
Our client, an award-winning manufacturing business, are looking for an Administrator to join their business. The primary focus of this role is to provide administrative support to the Financial Controller and support the wider company with administrative requirements. This person needs to be highly organised, computer literate and have the ability to learn new IT systems.
1. First point of contact in reception to meet, greet and record customers and suppliers
2. Manage daily staffing / attendance records for Fire and evacuation requirements
3. Answering inbound (non-sales) enquiries
4. Travel arrangements for management and directors
5. Diary management for CEO, MD and FD
6. Meeting administration and note-taking
7. Attend board meetings to impartially collate, then distribute notes and actions
8. Administration of expense claims
9. Entering Invoices and supplier payments (training given)
10. Managing credit control - liaising with clients, allocating payments, monthly statements, phone calls, letters etc.
11. Administration of petty cash
12. Administration of expense claims - collating and recording credit card receipts
13. Filing, scanning and archiving of financial & HR paperwork and records
14. General office administration duties as and when required
15. Ordering stationery and other items for general consumption
16. Supplier account reconciliations
Requirements
The successful Administrator will have solid administrative experience. Some exposure to the finance function of a business is highly desirable. You will have excellent IT skills and systems knowledge. You will have fantastic communication skills with an ability to maintain and enhance internal and external relationships. This role would suit someone who has worked as a finance assistant, accounts administrator or team administrator.
