KEY DUTIES: The operative will be expected to carry out the following tasks which should not be assumed as exhaustive,. .
* Carry out preventative maintenance
* Carry out reactive maintenance
* Observe and record daily data for records
* Oversee sub-contractors on site
* Daily reporting to management
* Liaising with customers
* On call and overtime
* Lone working
* Willingness to learn as it's a unique site
* Daily chemical checks on feed water
* Live within 15 minutes to deal with the on call
* Communication skills as it's a small team
* Computer literate
* Health and safety aware
* Desirable to have Boiler Operations Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) but not necessary.
* Mechanical or electrical experience
Practical experience in a similar role.
* A pro-active attitude.
* Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to form working relationships.
* The ability to form relationships with clients and to exceed customer expectation.
* Approachable demeanour and a demonstrable commitment to team working through flexible working hours.
* A knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
* Excellent record keeping
Salary will be negotiable, and agreement will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
