What the Job Involves As a Social Worker Level 2, you will provide statutory professional social work services and manage a varied caseload. Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, supporting safeguarding enquiries, and developing care packages. You will mentor fellow practitioners, supervise non-registered social care staff and social work students, and may deputize for the Lead Practitioner in their absence. Engaging with individuals and communities to support informed decisions and collaborating with partner agencies to meet broader needs are key aspects of this role.
