THE POSITION The Strategy & Operations Manager is responsible for managing, orchestrating, and implementing strategic projects for BI UKIE. This involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and the application of best practices in analytical problem-solving and project management. Effective stakeholder management with both internal and external parties is crucial to drive excellence in execution and ensure successful project completion. Additionally, the role includes preparing project proposals, conducting analyses, delivering insights, developing presentations, and facilitating project meetings. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES - Project Ownership: Lead strategic projects from concept to delivery, ensuring effective project governance. - Multi-Project Management: Oversee multiple projects concurrently, optimizing key business processes and strategic frameworks. - Strategic Formulation: Develop and implement strategic initiatives, acting as a problem solver and negotiator. - Executive Support: Assist the executive team in setting and prioritizing objectives. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success. - Industry Knowledge: Extensive and up-to-date understanding of the UKIE Pharma market, Life Sciences industry, regulations, and competitor companies/brands. - SOP Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant SOPs and provide guidance to teams, especially regarding digital materials. - Ethical Standards: Maintain compliance with local pharmaceutical standards and ethics. - Code Adherence: Be well-versed in the ABPI & IPHA Codes and ensure strict adherence. REQUIREMENTS - Consulting Experience: Proven experience as a business analyst or associate in top-tier management consulting, with a focus on life science clients. - Project Management: Demonstrated project management and cross-functional skills. - Strategy Implementation: Experience in implementing strategic initiatives. - Multinational Insight: Understanding of issues affecting multinational businesses in the UK & Ireland. - Relationship Building: Strong ability to partner, develop, and maintain positive professional relationships both internally and externally.
