Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust and play a key role in helping to provide an effective and efficient ambulance service to the people across the Yorkshire and Humber region. The Trust's busy fleet team is seeking an experienced, confident and highly-skilled Sub-Workshop Manager to join its in-house team and support the delivery of their maintenance and repair services for all emergency and non-emergency vehicles. The Trust is looking to employ to the position at our Hull workshop. Main duties of the job The Sub-Workshop Manager post works 37.5 hours Monday to Friday and needs to be flexible in working hour's dependant on operational demand.As a member of the fleet management team you will have responsibility for the fleet maintenance and repairs allocated to Hull workshop and adhoc vehicles from other areas of the Trust (circa 221 vehicles). You will manage the relationship between the parts supply chain, outside contractors, internal colleagues, and the Hull fleet team ensuring the fleet is legally compliant, fully operational and maintained to an excellent standard at all times.
