We are seeking reliable and compassionate Agency/Temporary Support Workers to join our team in residential settings across the Salisbury area. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting children to reach their full potential by fostering an environment that promotes growth, development, and resilience. Key Responsibilities: Work both as part of a team and independently (lone working) to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment. Build positive relationships with children and young people, offering support in their day-to-day lives. Perform domestic duties to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living space. Assist in assessing the individual needs of each child, adhering to policies and procedures to ensure their well-being. Support children in managing their behaviour using approved techniques and strategies. Essential Requirements: At least 6 months of experience working with children or young people, particularly those with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours, in residential settings. A calm, nurturing, and patient approach, with a strong commitment to promoting the health, safety, and welfare of children. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with children and young people in a variety of ways.
