IO Associates have partnered with a Global Food Manufacturing company who are looking for a Head of Procurement Excellence to join their team in Chiswick Park (Hybrid).

They work as a matrix organisation, with Global Categories demonstrating the global size and Regional Procurement ensuring a strong connection and proximity with our 6 regions.
You will be reporting directly to the UKI Procurement Lead, where you will drive (in alignment with Global Packaging Procurement team) the Packaging Category (GBP70 Million Spend).
Responsibilities
* Policy and Compliance: Ensure procurement activities align with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
* Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal partners to understand their procurement needs and expectations in the delivery of change projects.
* Performance Management: Monitor and report on procurement performance and implement improvements as necessary.
* Risk Management: Identify and manage procurement risks to protect the organisation's interests through supplier financial evaluation tools.
* End-to-End Source to Pay (S2P) Process: Lead all aspects of the S2P process, including defining the strategy, implementing the process, ensuring compliance, and continuously improving it.
* Sourcing Guideline Ownership: Own the sourcing guidelines of the organisation, ensuring all procurement activities align with these guidelines.
* Operational Procurement: Manage all operational procurement processes, including purchase, supplier relationships, contract management, and invoice processing.
* Productivity Governance: Manage productivity governance, set efficiency goals, supervise performance against these goals, and implement strategies for improvement.
* Procurement Tools and Systems: Oversee regional procurement-related tools and systems, ensuring effective use and compliance with data protection regulations.
* Sustainability: Act as a single point of contact for information regarding sustainable procurement and provide advice on sustainable procurement processes.
* Transformation: Lead regional procurement transformation projects.
Key Skills
* Experience in Procurement, with success in running a Category at regional or global level in a worldwide organisation.
* Ability to deal with ambiguity within a complex and multicultural environment.
* Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams with a collaborative mindset.
* Natural leadership and influence skills.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Ability to be hands-on operationally as well as build a long-term strategic vision.
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Available to work in Chiswick 3 days a week (preferable) and travel on request to factories and suppliers.
Salary: GBP90,000pa + Bonus (up to 15%) + Car Allowance (GBP7,000).
