Document Clerk 6 month fixed term contract This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied role within a team that provides administrative support to a busy and progressive law firm. A full-time position working 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, based at our offices in Town Square, Basildon. The role involves a variety of tasks including:- Preparing documents for scanning Quality checking of scanned documents Updating relevant information within the company document management system. Supporting the warehouse team in re-organising stored files, to include the retrieval of closed files. Liaising with our external storage facility to arrange the retrieval & return of files. Assisting with incoming deliveries. Working with the Project Manager and HR Administrator/ Administration Officer in relation to various internal projects. Candidates must be computer literate, with an eye for accuracy and capable of working within a varied role using their own initiative. The successful applicant may occasionally be expected to work at various heights, retrieving files from our warehouse storage racking, assist with staff moves as well as other general administrative tasks. This role will suit someone who is hoping to gain experience of working within an administration team providing support to a professional services firm. Salary:-We are a living wage employer.
